ANN TESTA lives in Orinda,
and works out of her studio in nearby Walnut Creek, California.
She has been active in ceramics continuously since 1976.
Ann does functional work
in addition to the non-functional raku featured on this
website. She first studied ceramics at the University
of California at Davis and has continued with many ceramics
classes since. She was a founding co-owner of the Davis
Clayworks in Davis, California, and an active member of
the Artists' Collaborative in Sacramento. While living
on the east coast from 1988-94 she was a juried member
of the Kiln Club's Scope Gallery and the Torpedo Factory
in Alexandria, Virginia.
Ann is an exhibiting
member of the Association of Clay & Glass Artists
of California. Her work is shown in galleries in the San
Francisco Bay area.
